Carpe diem!

The Roman poet Quintus Horatius “Horace” Flaccus may have been born in 65 B.C., but you’ve definitely heard of his Ode I-XI, in which he instructs his reader to “pluck the day” — or, in Latin, carpe diem.

Horace is just one of the many talented poets whose work will appear in our dangerously explosible third issue.

Others include Jacob Brunner, David Feinstein, Emma Gorenberg, John HennessyJordan Karnes, Claire Kiechel, Ricardo Alberto Maldonado, Sam Mansfield, Montgomery True Ogden, Benjamin Paloff, Danielle Grace Warren, and Dara Weinberg.

Of course, we’re committed to print, so you won’t find the goods here. You heard the man: get ready to pluck one up at your nearest participating bookstore.
